18 year old Lovey and 12 year old Big J were doing the dishes together. I should have known the calm and togetherness was too good to be true.
Lovey to Big J: "Stop doing that dumbass."
Me: "Lovey don't talk to your brother like that."
Lovey: "Sorry I didn't know you were in the room."
The ridiculous thing here is Lovey thought my issue was only with her calling her brother a dumbass in front of me. I shudder to think about what she calls him when I'm not around.
