Beware of Cat Urine

I recently spent a day with my mom in the Emergency room.  She had what we learned was pneumonia.  Though there is nothing funny about that, leave it to my mother to interject her own eccentricities into the situation.

Picture this, my mother is laying in the hospital bed, oxygen tube in her nose, IV in her arm with me standing at the foot of her bed after we were told by the doctor she had pneumonia.  Keep in mind she was dead serious when she said this:

My mom: "I'm telling you I'm convinced I got this pneumonia from exposure to cat urine!"

I had to continue my fit of laughter in the bathroom because I had to pee, and almost exposed her to my own urine.
